Benefits of eating fish.

     


  For those of us who live on an island surrounded by the sea, eating fish every day is not a new habit. Fish, sprats and dried fish contain high quality protein, which is a good source of fat, which reduces the risk of heart disease and other diseases caused by cholesterol.

             Fish oil contains omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential for the body's survival, nerve and brain development. Fish brain contains essential fatty acids and many nutrients, it is best to use whole fish when  cooking fish. 

                  By eating with sprats and small fish fillets, we can get the calcium that is essential for the growth of teeth and bones in the body. Marine fish are high on iodine, so eating fish can help prevent iodine deficiency.
